Family and Friends :)
Payton has met a lot of her family and friends in the last 4 weeks...she's a very lucky little girl!! Thought you'd enjoy some pics :) Of course there are a million more with a million more family members but I'll have to add more later, it's nap time for the both of us!
Sorry for the delay...
So Miss Payton is one month old today!! Hard to believe she's been here that long already. This has been a pretty good week...she seems to be figuring out her nights and days which is great for her, and us! Last night i fed her at 1030, she went to sleep at 12, then brian gave her a bottle at 2 and she didn't wake up again until 630!!!!!! not having to do the middle of the night feeding was a huge help, that's the one I was struggling with the most. I could barely keep my eyes open...Brian doesn't seem to mind doing it though so that works out really well. Payton was awake a lot more yesterday and she was a little more active...about as active as a one month old baby can be. She had some play time on her play mat and we took her out for a walk...big day for a little girl! We all love wednesdays, Bri goes to work late and doesn't have to go back to work in the afternoon so we actually all get to hang out. Every other day Payton falls asleep right as he's getting home at 2, then wakes up right as he's leaving again at 4. He doesn't get home again until after 630 and then the evening just flies by. I look forward to wednesdays and the weekends! I'm sure he does too. I took Payton back to the doctor yesterday (that's turning into a weekly occurrence...first time mom). I called them on tuesday just to ask a couple of stupid first time mom questions and when I mentioned the yellow stuff that comes out of her eye they said they wanted to see her to make sure it wasn't a bacterial infection. It isn't...just a blocked tear duct and she may have a little cold so the doc said it can get worse if her nose is stuffy. While I was there I also asked about the gagging fits she's been having lately. She turns bright red and stops breathing, looks like she's choking...freaks us out. Then all of a sudden milk comes out of her nose and her mouth at the same time, she seems to get pretty scared by the whole thing, as do we. So the doctor said she has acid reflux..funny, that's what we took her to the doctor for last week and they said it probably wasn't reflux..so basically, she could have been on meds for the last week to help make her more comfortable. But anyway, we're picking up meds today so hopefully it will help. By the way, she weighed 10lbs 5 oz haha, little pork chop! She's been gaining about an ounce a day. Here are some pics finally!
