So far...

...Payton has eaten in 6 restaurants that i can remember, got a passport, traveled 9 hours in the car to Canada, been to a dance recital, gone shopping, has gone hiking, has been baptized, and has been to the library numerous times. I know I'm missing something so I'll have to add to the list when I remember. At barely 12 weeks old, I'd say that's a good amount of life experience so far :) I've posted some pics from our trip to Canada and Payton's first time at the beach

Establishing a routine...

Ok, so now that I am back to work (sniff sniff), i'm hoping that I actually have 5 minutes to sit and update the blog. Maybe not every day but hopefully a lot more than I've been doing! Payton is getting so big and starting to do so many things that I really want to keep up with this blog so that I don't forget when she started smiling (the weekend of Feb 20), making noises (a lot more this week), etc. At her two month check up she was 11 lbs 11oz, and 23 3/4 inches long. 75th percentile for weight, and 95th percentile for height. who would have thought?
This week has definitely been an adjustment, having to get Payton on a schedule that somewhat coincides with my schedule is proving to be a challenge but it could be worse. Brian has taken her and champ on walks to come see me at work which has really helped me not miss her so much! I'm only 2 minutes away afterall. And i'm usually only at work from 2-6 which is great. And it's great for Brian to get some one on one time with her. As far as her sleeping goes, she's getting back to one feeding in the middle of the night which is great. You would think I'd be more rested...not so much. But as long as she is rested and happy in the morning then I'm happy :)
